Why your first agent should be boring

The flashiest idea in the room is rarely the one that pays back. Start where the work is dull, frequent and easy to check.

When a team first books an audit, they usually arrive with a big idea: an agent that runs the sales pipeline, or one that writes the strategy deck. We love the ambition, and we almost always talk them into something smaller.

Boring is measurable

A dull, frequent task has a clear before and after. If invoices took four minutes and now take twenty seconds, nobody needs a dashboard to believe it. That first, obvious win is what buys the trust for the ambitious second unit.

Boring is safe

Repeat work has a known right answer, so it is easy to check the agent against it for the first few weeks. By the time it handles the volume alone, the team has seen it get a thousand cases right.
